Welcome to Wicklow Hall. This page outlines our booking, cancellation, and stay policies. By making a reservation, you agree to these terms. Full terms and conditions are included in the booking confirmation you sign during checkout.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 3:00 PM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Late check-out until 1:00 PM may be requested for an additional $99, subject to availability.
• Your door lock code activates at check-in and deactivates at check-out, so please adhere to these times.

Cancellation Policies

We offer two cancellation options at checkout:

Standard Rate

• Cancel up to 60 days before check-in: no charge
• Cancel up to 14 days before check-in: first night penalty
• Cancel within 14 days of check-in: 100% charge
• Dates cannot be modified

Cancellable Rate (must be selected at booking)

• Cancel up to 7 days before check-in: 100% refund
• Cancel within 7 days of check-in: no refund, but you can reschedule your stay (once only, subject to availability)
• All changes must be made before check-in time
• No partial refunds or splitting reservations

Bookings made through OTAs (Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com, Vrbo) are subject to the cancellation policy of that specific listing.

Deposit & Payment

• Full room charges plus taxes are charged to your card 14 days before your arrival date.
• We accept all major credit cards.
• We do not accept cash or checks.
• Any incidental charges will be billed to your card upon departure.

Weekend & Holiday Rates

Higher rates apply to weekend stays and holidays. Some holiday and event weekends may require a 2-night minimum stay.

Occupancy

All rates are based on single or double occupancy unless otherwise noted. Each accommodation has a strict maximum occupancy (including children and infants) — please check the room description carefully. Unauthorized additional guests will result in a $100 per person per day charge to the card on file.

Pet Policy

We welcome well-behaved dogs in select pet-friendly cabins:

• The Lodge
• The Cottage
• The Bungalow

Pet fee: $50/night for the first dog, $25/night for the second dog (2-dog maximum).

Pets are strictly not allowed in any room within the Grand Home (Captain’s Quarters, The Oak Room, Suite Six, The Jewel Box, Camellia Suite).

Add your pet via the add-ons page when making your reservation. Dogs must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash, may not be left unattended, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.

Smoking Policy

Wicklow Hall is a strictly non-smoking property, including cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, e-cigarettes, candles, and incense. A minimum cleaning fee of $350 will be charged for any evidence of smoking inside an accommodation.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Amplified sound or music is not permitted. Please be courteous to other guests.

Damage & Incidentals

Guests are responsible for any damage to the accommodation or its contents. Any damaged or missing items will be assessed and billed to the credit card on file. Please report any issues or concerns immediately so we can address them — we cannot issue refunds for issues raised at the end of a stay or after checkout.

Events & Large Gatherings

Wicklow Hall is a privately-owned vacation property, not an event venue. Any celebration, gathering, reunion, or event must be approved in writing before the reservation is confirmed. Unauthorized gatherings will result in immediate removal from the property without refund.

SMS & Text Messaging Communications

We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during the booking process, or by opting in via our contact form, you consent to receive text messages from Wicklow Hall.

Purpose: Text messaging may be used to send check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and to respond to your requests during your stay.

Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.

Help: Reply HELP or contact the front desk for assistance.

Privacy of Mobile Data: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Acceptance of Terms

The full Vacation Rental Agreement under the South Carolina Vacation Rental Act will be presented to you at booking. By making a reservation and agreeing to those terms at checkout, you confirm acceptance of all conditions outlined here and in the booking confirmation.
